The Southern Cross University Business School, in collaboration with the Future Cities Institute, invited business owners and representatives to a free interactive digital marketing 'workout', to be held at Southern Cross University's Gold Coast Campus, Thursday 1 August 2013.
The one–day workshop will feature a cast of digital practitioners who will provide attendees, particularly those involved in small to medium sized businesses, with an arsenal of tools, tactics and examples to help local firms gain a greater foothold in the digital world.
"Our goal in facilitating this Digital Bootcamp is simple: to see attendees leaving the workshop with a new found, broad understanding of digital media, and how online tools and tactics can be seamlessly integrated into small business strategy." Bootcamp facilitator Malcolm Fraser, CEO of the Future Cities Institute
Interactive workshop topics will include:
- Online Business Models (with Malcolm Fraser – Future Cities Institute)
- Doing Business on the Cloud (with Michaela Clark – Think Virtual)
- Social Media (with marketing specialist, Eric Fairall)
- Online Privacy & Security (with security expert, Bill Caelli – Director at IISEC Pty Ltd)
